During the opening of ‘Grain, Wood, Flax, Turf - Time to Meet in Voorkamer’, the visitors were being surprised by the work ‘Welkom/Auf Wiedersehen’ at the entrance of the exhibition space. Unknowingly, each visitor activated the installation, capturing themselves on camera while standing in a cloud. The image was instantly printed out and fluthered down above their heads. Most of the prints were taken home by the portrayed guests as a memento of their presence. Others were forgotten, abandoned or weatherbeaten. ‘Welkom/Auf Wiedersehen : ‘Left overs, b-sides and rarities’ contains five of these forsaken prints.
